Default: 2 mm base + 2 mm top = 4 mm total
Top artwork is clipped to the base outline and kept out of its holes. Inspect the trimming report before printing.
Export your keychain
The two-color 3MF keeps Base and Raised top aligned as two filament parts. Choose your printer and slice it in Creality Print.
Build the preview to enable export. This is a model for slicing, not a file ready to run on the printer.
From this file to your K2 + CFS
- Open the 3MF in Creality Print. Keep the keychain together as one object with two parts.
- Select your exact K2 printer, nozzle, and print profile. Add two filament profiles that match your spools.
- Expand the keychain in the Objects list. Assign Base to filament 1 and Raised top to filament 2. Check these even if the colors loaded automatically.
- Slice the plate. In the layer preview, confirm color 1 builds the base and color 2 builds the raised artwork; the keyring hole should stay open.
- When sending the print, enable CFS and confirm which loaded slot supplies each filament. Then print or export the sliced file.
If both parts arrive in one color, add the second filament and assign each named part in the Objects list. Do not arrange the base and top as separate objects on the bed.
Creality’s K2 + CFS guide (opens a new tab)The STL contains one fused solid. Position it flat in your slicer. This mode adds no hinges and does not create a keyring hole automatically.
How two SVGs become a two-color 3MF
Pause each step using this example tag. Heights and colors follow your current choices; the example outline stays fixed.
Check the height calculation
The base starts on the print bed at Z = 0. The second SVG starts on top of the base, then adds its own height. The STL joins them into one solid. The two-color 3MF keeps the base and top as touching parts, so the slicer can assign different filaments.
Only top artwork supported by the base survives. A base hole stays open, even if the second SVG covers it.
